Joyce Law

Joyce Law was the operating name of David A. Joyce Law Corporation, founded by David Joyce in January of 2020. David was called to the bar in 1998 and his practice has focused on civil litigation including insurance defence, plaintiff personal injury, and family law.  

In 2021, Joyce Law added Tiago Rodrigues to the legal team. Tiago practiced law in Brazil for over a decade and speaks fluent Portuguese in addition to English; enabling Joyce Law to meet the legal needs of both English and Portuguese speaking clients in their own language. After obtaining a Masters Degree in law from UBC, Mr. Rodrigues was called to the British Columbia bar in 2022 and has appeared as counsel in both chambers and trial in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and appeared as counsel in the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

In 2023, Joyce Law added Jill McLennan to its legal team as a paralegal and Office Manager.  Jill has years of experience as a family law paralegal for Lorne MacLean working on high net-worth files at MacLean Family Law in downtown Vancouver.  Jill also uses her experience to assist people through the litigation process in her role as a Divorce Coach.

Joyce Law's legal services included family law and estate administration matters, personal injury, and insurance defence, and welcomes enquires regarding any civil legal needs facing its clients. Joyce Law was conveniently located in North Vancouver between the bridges next to Capilano Mall, two blocks south of Marine Drive.

Joyce Law ceased operations as a law firm in May of 2026.  David Joyce has returned to QA Law where he started his legal career in 1998.  Tiago Rodrigues has opened his own law firm TR Law located at  Suite 201 Office 5 at 252 Esplanade West, North Vancouver; 778-606-3322.
